Hello,
I’m not sure whether Sneek supports the widget or not, but here is the problem regardless.
After installing the widget to the site, with the appropriate account name, it worked perfectly the first time I viewed the page.
However, any time since, I recieve ‘Error: Twitter did not respond’. The account in question appears to be operating fine, so I can only imagine it’s a problem on the widget/website side.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It is possible that the twitter api was down for some reason. Can you send us a link to your site?

Well, we tried using a fresh install of wordpress, and again, the widget worked momentarily, but crashed shortly after. Not sure what to do at this point.

Is the account you are using public? Have you enabled WordPress debug (via wp-config.php) to see if there are any error messages.

Was there a solution published for this issue? I’m also having problems with the native Twitter widget — get this error:
Error: Twitter did not respond. Please wait a few minutes and refresh this page.
